It’s the most wonderful time of the year—but also the busiest for shipping carriers! 📦💨 During the holiday peak season (November 15–January 15), please allow extra time for your goodies to arrive. We’ll make sure your order is shipped out quickly, but after it leaves our hands, the magic is up to USPS/UPS. Thank you for your patience, babe! 🌟


📦 Shipping Timeline

  • In-stock items ship within 24-48 business hours (Monday-Friday).
  • Weekends and holidays are excluded from shipping timelines.
  • Preorder or custom items: Please read their descriptions for details (see below for more info).

💌 Delivery Dates: Any delivery date provided is an estimate and not guaranteed. Use your tracking number (sent via email) to stay updated on your order's journey!


🚨 Important Shipping Details

  • Incorrect Addresses: Double-check your address, cutie! Orders returned due to incorrect info can be reshipped for an additional fee (we’ll only reship once).
  • Free Shipping: If you qualify for free shipping, we’ll pick the best shipping method for your package.
  • Shipping Costs: These are calculated by weight and dimensions.

🌏 International Orders

  • Customs/duty fees (if applicable) are the customer’s responsibility.
  • VNB is not responsible for any customs duties, tariffs, or additional charges that may be imposed in your country.
  • Heads Up: Orders returned due to unpaid customs fees cannot be refunded.

🎀 Velvet Noire Is NOT Responsible For:

  • Shipping delays caused by USPS/UPS.
  • Lost or damaged packages once they leave our hands (please contact your carrier).
  • Packages marked as "delivered" but not received (reach out to your local Post Office or UPS for help).

Customers that have experienced lost/damaged/stolen items and have purchased "Delivery Guarantee" can file a claim in the Resolution Center and work with Resolve to correct the issue.


🌸 Preorder & Special-Order Items 🌸

  • Preorder Items: Made just for you! These typically ship within 2-3 weeks but could take longer depending on our vendors. Check the item's description for specific timelines!
  • Special Order Wigs: These require extra time and care—expect 3-4 months for these beauties to arrive and ship.

Important Note: If your order includes a preorder or special-order item, the entire order will ship once everything is ready.

💖 If a preorder or special order takes longer than 3 weeks, we’ll reach out with options:

  1. Full refund
  2. Shop credit
  3. Exchange for an in-stock item

🌸 Waitlist & Pre-Authorization Information🌸

  • Waitlists

    Waitlists are used for customers who are interested in a product but, it is currently out of stock. Customers can add themselves to a waitlist and when and IF we restock, they will be notified that an item is in their shopping cart, and they will have 1 hour to checkout or they lose it. This is a great option for customers who do not want to pre-authorize payment but are still interested in being notified if we restock an item.

  • Pre-Authorizations
    Pre-Authorizations are used for customers who are interested in a product but, it is currently out of stock AND want to be bumped AHEAD of our waitlists and guarantee payment upon restock. Customers can add themselves to a product waitlist AND pre-authorize payment. What this means is we do NOT take payment when you add yourself but rather when and IF we restock, that customer will be AUTOMATICALLY charged that day.  If we do NOT ever restock that product, you will NEVER be charged.
